Hvar the Island of Wine will be present at the Wine Fredane Festival in Italy

From  August 10 till 12, in the beautiful place Montefredane near Avellino (60 km from Naples), Wine Fredane Festival will be held.

We are happy to announce that Hvar wines will be presented.

The story about our Hvar, the Island of Wine will be told through the workshop “I vini dell’Isola di Hvar”.

The wines of the wineries Plenković, Tomić, PZ Svirče i Carić, will partecipate the workshop, guided by the representative of the Avellino section of O.N.A.V., Mr. Giuseppe Iannone.

O.N.A.V. is a National Organizzation of the Wine Tasters of Italy.

Hvar Otok Vina predstaviti će se na Wine Fredane Festivalu u Italiji

Od 10. do 12. kolovoza 2014. u Montefredane pokraj Avellina, prekrasnog mjesta 60 km južnije od Napulja održava se vinski festival Wine Fredane, na kojem će se predstaviti vina članova Udruge “Hvarski vinari”.

Priča o Hvaru Otoku Vina ispričati će se kroz radionicu “I vini dell’Isola di Hvar”.

Na radionici sudjeluju vina vinarija Plenković, Tomić, PZ Svirče i Carić,

a vodi je predstavnik sekcije O.N.A.V.-a iz Avellina g. Giuseppe Iannone.

On Tuesday 29 July, we continue our tour of the island of Hvar.

This time, we shall see you in Stari Grad from 9pm,

in the lovely Škor square where Dalmatia is reflected in all its beauty!

The stone walls of Stari Grad’s old houses with their green shutters, and caper bushes adorning the steps and balconies.

Enjoy yourself with a glass or two of Hvar wine accompanied by live music from Split band Repassage.
