Awarded Wine Writer Visits Hvar Island

Miquel Hudin is a writer originally from California, based in Catalunya, Spain. He started his wine career in the Napa Valley which led to the founding of the Vinologue series of wine books in 2008 followed by in 2010. He received the Wine & Innovation Award 2020 from Millesima, was named Best Drink Writer of 2017 by the Fortnum & Mason Awards, and was the recipient of the 2016 Geoffrey Roberts Award.

MIquel Hudin recently visited our island and evaluated Hvar wines, the report was published on his web site:

During the visit Miquel Hudin participated in the disccution on wine tourism, together with the president of our association, Ivana Krstulović Carić, dipl.img.agr. The moderator was prof. Marija Vukelić. The lecture was held in the town of Hvar with the goal to analyse the current situation on the island and rethinking the development models of wine tourism.

This collaboration was was achieved with the help of the Tourist Board of Hvar town.
